ISLAMABAD: Responding to the criticism of the PPP on the appointment of Shabbar Zaid as new chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Prime Minister Adviser on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said Zaidi is the highest tax payer chartered accountant.
In her tweet, the adviser said Zaidi was awarded as the highest taxpayer by the previous government and his character assassination as tax evader is condemnable.

Notification appointing Shabbar Zaidi as an honourary chairman FBR was issued on Thursday by the federal government of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
