KARACHI: Fire brigade declared Regent Plaza hotel fire as an accident and ruled out any possibility of terrorism.
The Chief Fire Officer Tehseen Ahmed said that causes of the fire in the hotel were not clear. He said that fire might erupted from Kitchen.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah’s inspection team failed to submit report despite passing 48.
While Electrical Inspector Wali Muhammad decided thermography of the hotel to find out causes of the fire. He called for equipment from Lahore. Thermography will identify the place where short-circuit occurred and help guide the causes of the fire.
