Karachi: A fire erupted at a furniture market in Aysha Manzil area of Karachi has spread to seven storey of the building which injured three people so far.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) central Faisal Abdullah Chachar apprised that the fire first ignited in a mattress of the furniture shops while all the injured have been shifted to a near by hospital.
The SSP apprised further that residential flats are present at the upper floors of the building.
He said that more fire brigades vehicles were called adding that for some extent the fire has become under control.
Moreover, he said that seven shops, several vehicles and flats were completely destroyed in the fire.
