Quetta: Unidentified people opened firing and threw hand grenades to a rally led by a MPA Ali Madad Jattak on Wednesday, evening injuring five persons on Saryab raod in Quetta.
The rally was heading to attend a gathering called for expressing solidarity with Pakistan armed forces.
Many injured belonged to Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) workers.
One vehicle partially damaged in the attack while the injured have been shifted to Bolan Medical College hospital and Civil Hospital Quetta.
The MPA Ali Madad Jattak remained safe and sound in the attack.
