BAHAWALNAGAR: A tragic incident of shooting occurred near Chishtiyan in Chak No. 33 Fatah, Bahawalnagar, involving two groups over a water dispute.
As a result, three members of the same family lost their lives. During the firing, two individuals were also injured, while the assailants managed to escape.
According to police, the incident took place due to a dispute over water supply from a water scheme. The shooting resulted in the death of a father and his two sons on the spot.
The injured were immediately taken to the hospital. Police have formed teams to arrest the culprits and are hopeful that they will be apprehended soon.
Police officials have stated that investigations are ongoing and details of the incident are being ascertained. An appeal has been made to the public to maintain peace and put an end to enmity.
