PESHAWAR: First monkeypox case in Pakistan has surfaced from Peshawar.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Advisor Health Ehtesam Ali said, public health team has shifted the patient to the police services hospital after the monkeypox case was revealed, the patient samples were sent from the police hospital to the Public Health Reference Lab while the Peshawar airport manager wrote a letter in which other passengers were sent.
Health Advisor said, Public Health Reference Lab confirmed m-pox in a person who came from Dubai.
