Islamabad: It is likely that the National Assembly (NA) session will be called on February 29.
Sources said that the ministry of parliamentary affairs has sent requisition of calling the NA session to caretaker premier Anwar Ul Haq Kakar.
The PM will advise the president to call the NA session after the approval of the requisition. Later, the President Dr Arif Alvi will approve the summary of calling the NA session.
The NA session will be held in the speaker-ship of Raja Pervez Ashraf.
The NA secretariat has started preparations for the first session of the NA after the general elections.
