KARACHI: Five illegal Afghan refugees among nine suspects have been arrested from different parts of the metropolis Karachi on Wednesday night.
According to the details, police booked the five illegal Afghan refugees in New Karachi and lodged a case against them under Foreign Act. While Kemari police arrested a suspect Faisal Siddique alias Ukasha. SP Kemari said that the suspect affiliated with a banned outfit.
A women drug peddler was arrested in Machar Colony. Police recovered 30 gram Heroin from her custody. Whereas two street criminals were arrested in Ittehad Town.
Police and law enforcement agencies (LEAs) conducted combing operation on a tip off in Mawach Goth. LEAs searched few houses but did not arrest anyone.
