Islamabad: A total number of deaths owing to the devastating floods and rains have climbed to 1,396 after five more people lost their lives in the last 24 hours across the country.
As per the National Disaster Managment Authority (NDMA) daily report of the last 24 hours, apprised that one person in Sindh while four persons in Baluchistan died owing to illnesses of the floods and rains.
On the other hand, six children also sustained injuries in the last 24 hours. The NDMA informed that as many as 268 people in Baluchistan, 191 people in Punjab lost their lives owing to the floods.
The number of deaths in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is 293 while 22 in Gilgit Baltistan and 44 people in Azad Jammu and Kashmir have died so far.
As many as 12, 728 people are injured due to the floods and rains while as a whole more than 33 million people have affected by the devastating floods and rains.
