Bahawalpur: Five dead bodies were recovered from a private housing society in Bahawalpur Shishmahi canal road.
Sources said that all the people were shot dead while a unconcious female child also recovered from the home.
Rescue team entered the house after breaking the door.
Deceased includes husband, wife and their three children. The names of deceased are 40-year-old Kashif, 36-year-old Urooj, 15-year-old Jahanzeb, 13-year -old Abdullah and 9-year-old Abdullah Wahab.
The rescue team called the police over which District Police Officer (DPO) Bahawalpur reached the spot along with other high officers of the police.
Forensic team has been called at the crime scene to collect the evidences.
The killing are due to robbery or enmity, the Police said that it will be premature to say something at this time.
Investigation has been started with every angle, the police said.
