Pakistan Railways has raised passenger train fares by 5% in response to the rising costs of petroleum products.
According to the notification, the increase in passenger fares will be applicable from February 5, with all the train tickets increased by 5 %. This increase in train fares will also apply to all outsource trains, including the salon service.
It should be notable, government increased the price of petrol by one rupee on January 31, after which the new price of petrol per liter has increased to Rs 257 by 13 paise, and the price of high speed diesel has been increased by Rs 7, the new price per liter of diesel has increased to Rs 267 to 95 paise.
