Floods Wreak Havoc In Iran As Death Toll Reaches 70

TEHRAN: Heavy floods continue to wreak havoc in Iran as the death toll has reached to 70 in parts of Iran since March.

According to foreign media, flash floods have continued to hit parts of the country as the death toll has crossed 70 and left several people homeless.

The heavy rains started back on March 19 in Iran have caused havoc within the country since then as more than 70 people have been killed and another 791 one sustained injuries in the process.

Head of the Iranian Red-Crescent has told the media that relief operations are underway in more than 293 villages of Pol-e Dokhtar and Marivan cities of the country.

Both of the cities were heavily affected during the flash floods.
