ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and former prime minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf exchanged hot words during the session of the National Assembly.
The session of the NA was held with Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri in the chair. The opposition started hue and cry when it was not allowed to present adjournment motion against increase in the electricity price.
On the occasion, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that those who are claiming to be champions of democracy ruined its norms during the Umerkot by-polls. To, this the PPP leader Raja Pervaiz Ashraf no one would be able to speak on the floor, if they were not allowed.
Both the leaders traded barbs during the session.
