Foreign Exchange Reserves Drop Below $14b

Islamabad (October 5, 2017): Pakistan’s total liquid foreign exchange reserves held by State Bank of Pakistan was recorded at $13,857 million, down $275.7 million or 1.95% compared to $14,132.7 million in the previous week.

According to data released by the central bank on Thursday, total liquid foreign reserves held by the country, including net reserves held by banks other than the SBP, stood at $19,763.2 million.As per details, net reserves held by banks amounted to $5,906.2 million.
