ISLAMABAD: After confirmation of ISPR, Foreign office of Pakistan has also confirmed that Pakistan Air Force undertook strikes across Line of Control (LoC) from Pakistani airspace, bringing down two fighter jets of Indian Air Force.
In his tweet, FO Dr Mohammad Faisal said, “PAF undertook strikes across LoC from Pakistani airspace. Sole purpose of this action was to demonstrate our right, will and capability for self defence.”
He added, “We do not wish to escalate but are fully prepared if forced into that paradigm”

DG ISPR Major General Asf Ghafoor also tweeted confirming the news of Pakistan Air Force bringing down two fighter jet planes of the Indian Air Force who crossed Line Of Control.
In response to PAF strikes this morning as released by MoFA, IAF crossed LOC. PAF shot down two Indian aircrafts inside Pakistani airspace. One of the aircraft fell inside AJ&K while other fell inside IOK. One Indian pilot arrested by troops on ground while two in the area.

According to Indian media, the IAF jets took off from Srinagar which later crash-landed in Budgam. Reason for the crash of Indian Air Force jets is yet to be released, as per the latest reports.
