Former PM Excuses From Appearing Before NAB

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has excused from appearing before National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in a case pertaining to alleged irregularities in the tenders of LNG-Terminal.

In this regard, the politician has informed NAB team.

The grafting-busting body had called Shahid Khaqan at its Rawalpindi office at 10 am.

The PML-N stalwart is accused of granting tenders of LNG-Terminal to his blue-eyed individuals and caused a loss of millions to the national exchequer.

It is pertinent to mention here that the former premier and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi had appeared before the NAB three times for the inquiry and the anti-graft body has diverted the inquiry into a probe and he was expected to be arrested today.
