DI Khan: Four Khawarij terrorists were killed in a security forces Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) in Madi area of Dera Ismail Khan while a braved Sepoy embraced martyrdom fighting against the terrorists, the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) said.
According to the ISPR, Sepoy Basit Siddiq martyred fighting bravely against the Khawarij terrorists while these sacrifices of our soldiers strengthens our resolve further.
Arms and ammunition also recovered from the possession of Khawarijs, the ISPR added.
A sanitisation operation was being conducted to eliminate any other Khawarij found in the area, it added.
President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have paid glowing tributes to the security forces while they also expressed commitment to eliminate scourge of terrorism from the country.
