NUSHKI: At least four policemen were martyred when a police patrol van came under attack near Ghareebabad in Nushki, Baluchistan.
According to police sources, the policemen who were martyred in the attack were residents of Nushki and their bodies were transported to Mir Gul Khan Naseer Hospital after the incident.
Last week, at least five people, including three Frontier Corps (FC) personnel and two civilians, were martyred in a suicide bombing targeting a security convoy on National Highway N-40 in Baluchistan’s Nushki district.
Soon after the attack, security forces launched an operation, killing four terrorists.
According to security sources, the attack was carried out by militants from the banned Baluchistan Liberation Army (BLA).
