KASUR: Heartbreaking incident has come to light involving a four-year-old girl who has reportedly been subjected to sexual assault in Kasur.
According to police officials, medical examinations conducted shortly after the incident have confirmed that the young girl was sexually assaulted.
The girl was found crying in an isolated area around 8 PM. She was rescued by passersby and initially brought to the District Head Quarters (DHQ) Hospital for immediate care, before being transferred to a general hospital for specialized treatment.
Authorities have launched a thorough investigation, collecting evidence from the scene and conducting raids to locate and arrest the suspect responsible for this heinous act.
Kasur’s District Police Officer (DPO), Isa Khan, personally inspected the crime scene, where investigators recovered two torn ten-rupee notes. Further evidence and details are being carefully analyzed to aid in the case.
One of the challenges faced by investigators is that the girl’s parents are currently untraceable, and no reports of a missing child matching her description have been filed. However, as her health improved, a female police officer was able to gather some basic information about her family background and occupation.
According to the FIR lodged with police, a local resident reported during a routine patrol that a blood-stained girl was found lying in an abandoned plot in the Mustafa Abad area.
Following initial medical intervention, the girl was stabilized and given necessary treatment at the hospital, including anesthesia to control bleeding.
Police officials are continuing their efforts to identify the suspect and ensure justice for the young victim
