Fourth Wave Of Coronavirus Not Seems To Settle Down As More 4,075 Cases Reported

LAHORE: Pakistan has reported 91 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 1,131,659. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 25,094 on Tuesday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 4,075 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.


Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 11,605 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 6,627 in Sindh, 4,819 in KP, 852 in Islamabad, 685 in Azad Kashmir, 336 in Balochistan, and 170 in GB.

Furthermore 422,418 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 382,332 in Punjab, 157,721 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 96,771 in Islamabad, 31,865 in Balochistan, 30,865 in Azad Kashmir and 9,687 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Pakistan has so far conducted 17,336,393 coronavirus tests and 59,943 in the last 24 hours. 1,015,519 patients have recovered in the country whereas 5,513 patients are in critical condition.
