Islamabad: The interim government has taken a major step against smuggling on goods imported from Afghanistan under the Pak-Afghan transit trade.
Under the anti smuggling initiative Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR) has fixed 10 percent processing fees on five items imported from Afghanistan under the Afghan transit trade.
The processing fees has also been imposed on 21 tariff lines of shoes, while ten tariff lines of blanket and home textile have also been imposed with the processing fees.
