NOWSHERA: Funeral prayer of Deputy Director of Darul Uloom Haqqania Akora Khatak, Maulana Hamid ul-Haq Shaheed, has been performed.
Funeral prayer of Maulana Hamid Al-Haq was attended by a large number of leaders, including former Emir of Jamaat-e-Islami Siraj-ul-Haq, former Governor Ghulam Ali, as well as scholars and students from religious schools. Maulana Hamid Al-Haq was laid to rest at Dar-ul-Uloom Haqqania in Akora Khattak.
Maulana Hamid-ul-Haq has been laid to rest beside his deceased father, Maulana Sami-ul-Haq.
Along with the funeral of Maulana Hamidul-Haq, the funerals of two other martyrs from Swabi, Abdul Waheed and poet and writer Tajamul Shah (known as Tajamul Farhan), were also held. Abdul Waheed’s funeral was conducted in his village of Zida, while Tajamul Shah’s was in his village of Jalsai.
