LAHORE: The funeral prayers of senior political figure Syed Zaeem Hussain Qadri, a prominent leader of the Awam Pakistan Party, were offered at his residence on Lawrence Road in Lahore on Friday evening.
A large number of political personalities, including provincial ministers, members of the provincial assembly, and party leaders, attended the ceremony to pay their respects. Among those present were Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar and senior leader Khawaja Saad Rafique, who also extended their condolences to the grieving family.
Provincial Minister Bilal Yasin and former Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry separately visited the residence of the late leader to express their sympathies.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz conveyed her heartfelt condolences, while the Governor of Punjab also expressed sorrow over his demise.
