Karachi: The horrific fire at furniture market and building has been doused, Chief fire officer said.
The CFO apprised that the fire has been completely extinguished while a process of cooling down is underway.
” It took a complete three hours to douse the horrific fire.” the CFO said
Earlier, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) central Faisal Abdullah Chachar apprised that the fire first ignited in a mattress of the furniture shops adding that three people sustained injuries in the fire.
All the injured have been shifted to the civil hospital burns center..
The SSP apprised further that residential flats are present at the upper floors of the building. He said that some extent the fire has become under control.
Moreover, he said that seven shops, several vehicles and flats were completely destroyed in the fire.
