The G-7 countries including Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States have expressed grave concern over Russia’s threatening military build-up around Ukraine and urged it to choose the path of diplomacy.
This came in a joint declaration at the end of G-7 Foreign Ministers’ meeting held in Germany on the sidelines of Munich Conference.
The G-7 countries called on Russia to withdraw military forces from Ukraine’s borders and abide by international commitments.
