LAKKI MARWAT: An unidentified assailant blew up the main gas pipeline leading from the betni oil field to Punjab in the Wanda amir area of Lakki Marwat using explosive material.
The blast took place within the jurisdiction of Saddar Police Station, leading to a halt in gas supplies to the region. Security personnel responded promptly, securing the site and launching an investigation into the sabotage.
This marks the third such attack on the pipeline within a month, raising serious concerns over energy security and regional stability. The recurring incidents have not only disrupted gas distribution but also intensified worries about the security environment.
