Islamabad: The people should start preparing for much expensive gas as hike in the gas prices likely today.
The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the cabinet will hold its meeting today in chair of interim Finance Minister Shamshad Akhtar for approving the hike.
The protected and non-protected consumers will face the increase from February 1.
The caretaker government has ensured the International Monetary Fund (IMF) increasing the gas prices.
