Islamabad: Newly appointed Chief Of Army Staff Gen Syed Asim Munir Shah called on President Dr Arif Alvi at the Aiwan-e-Sadar.
During the meeting, the President congratulated Syed Asim Munier on promotion on the post of general and his appointment as army chief.
President expressed best wishes for his success as Chief of Army Staff (COAS).
The COAS will take charge of his office on November 29 after retirement of outgoing army chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa
