Brussels: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has said that the God has made him protector of the country and he has not any wish for any other post.
Talking to a senior journalist in a ceremony hosted by the overseas Pakistanis in Brussels, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) said that all the rumors pertaining to a change are totally false adding that those who are spreading this rumors are against the government and the establishment.
On a query of the journalist, Syed Asim Munir said that political reconciliation is only possible through asking pardon with a true heart.
Quoting the versus of the Quran, the field marshal said that after the creation of Prophet Adam everyone accepted him understanding this as the order of the God adding those who sought pardon remained angels and those who didn’t seek pardon turned an evil.
He said that Pakistan has a long experience of maintaining a balance in its relations between China and America adding we will not sacrifice a friend for sake of another.
He said that the US President has real wish of establishment of peace and that’s why Pakistan nominated his name for the Nobel peace price first.
The field marshal warned India, “Don’t destroy peace of Pakistan through proxies while he said that the Afghan government should close its policy to push down Taliban into Pakistan.”
Taking revenge of every Pakistani blood is obligatory, he said.
Upon arrival at the ceremony, the field marshal was welcomed as the victorious of the India Pakistan war ” Marka-e-Haq”.
