ISLAMABAD: Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has conveyed to Mohsin Naqvi that he will update him on the party’s stance regarding the planned protest by 6 PM today.
Naqvi highlighted that an 80-member delegation of foreign dignitaries is scheduled to visit Pakistan, stating that it is not appropriate for a political party to hold a protest during this time.
Barrister Gohar informed Naqvi that consultations with other party leaders were underway. He stated that a final decision would be made after meeting with the rest of the party leadership.
Sources reported that Barrister Gohar informed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur about Naqvi’s call.
He assured the interior minister that the party would convey its final decision by 6 PM.
