Gold and silver rates in Pakistan continue to climb

KARACHI: Gold prices continued their upward momentum on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, as the rate of 24-carat gold per tola in Pakistan soared to Rs529,162.

Globally, the gold market breached the $5,000 per ounce milestone, driven by robust demand and heightened market volatility.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-carat gold per tola surged by Rs14,800, reaching Rs529,162. Meanwhile, 10 grams of 24-carat gold saw an increase of Rs12,689, bringing the price to Rs453,671.

Over the past two days, the domestic gold rate for 24-carat gold per tola has experienced a remarkable rise of Rs38,800, underscoring a sharp increase in local prices.

In addition to gold, silver prices in Pakistan observed a moderate uptick. The rate of 24-carat silver per tola rose by Rs109, settling at Rs9,255, while the price for 10 grams increased by Rs93 to reach Rs7,934.

The global silver market also witnessed gains, with the per-ounce price rising by $1.09 to stand at $87.80.
