KARACHI: Gold rates in Pakistan fell sharply once again on Tuesday, marking a continued slide in domestic bullion prices.

Data released by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association showed that the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs10,000, settling at Rs539,962.

Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs8,573, bringing it down to Rs462,930.

On the global front, gold prices also witnessed a downturn, falling by $100 per ounce to stand at $5,172.

The latest reduction follows Monday’s substantial drop of Rs13,900 per tola, underscoring ongoing fluctuations in both local and international gold markets.
