KARACHI: The price of gold dropped by Rs.1000 per tola in Pakistan.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, Gold price of per tola 24-karat gold dropped by Rs1,000 per tola to Rs443,162, compared to Rs.444,162.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs858 to Rs379,939, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold were priced at Rs348,290 after a decrease of Rs786.
In the international market, gold slipped by $10, settling at $4,208 per ounce.
On the other hand, silver recorded an upward trend. The price of 24-karat silver per tola rose by Rs81 to Rs6,085, while the rate for 10 grams increased by Rs69 to Rs5,216. International silver also inched up by $0.81 to $58.13 per ounce.
