KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan held steady on Friday following a notable surge the previous day.
As reported by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the rate for 24-karat gold per tola remained consistent at Rs482,462. Similarly, 10 grams of 24-karat gold retained its price of Rs413,633, while the 10-gram rate for 22-karat gold stayed firm at Rs379,177.
On the international front, gold prices exhibited a similar stability, with the global market price remaining fixed at $4,601 per ounce.
In contrast, silver prices in Pakistan saw an upward shift. The rate for 24-karat silver per tola increased by Rs100, reaching Rs9,525, while 10 grams of silver rose by Rs86 to settle at Rs8,166.
