KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan experienced an upward trend on Saturday, reflecting gains observed in the international market. In the local market, the price of gold per tola rose by Rs5,300, reaching Rs444,162.
Similarly, the rate for 10-gram gold climbed by Rs4,544, settling at Rs380,797, as reported by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On the previous day, however, gold prices remained steady for the second consecutive session, with the per-tola rate fixed at Rs438,862.
Globally, the price of gold saw an increase of $53, reaching $4,218 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
In addition, silver prices also surged by Rs267 to reach Rs5,909 per tola.
