Gold price sees another massive jump in Pakistan

KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan surged sharply on Tuesday, reflecting a strong upward movement in the global market.

As reported by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the local price of gold soared by Rs5,900 per tola, reaching Rs435,762. Meanwhile, the rate for 10 grams of gold increased by Rs5,065, closing at Rs373,595.

This marks the second straight day of increases. On Monday, gold prices had already jumped by Rs7,400 per tola, settling at Rs429,862. So far this week, the price of gold in Pakistan has risen by Rs13,300 per tola.

In the international market, gold prices also saw significant gains, climbing to $4,134 per ounce with a $20 premium, an overall rise of $59 within the day. Silver prices mirrored this trend, advancing by Rs144 per tola to reach Rs5,353.
