Gold slipped on Wednesday from a historic high mainly owing to a battered rupee that has been trading around an all-time low from the past several sessions.
According to the data released by All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of gold (24 carats) decreased by Rs300 per tola and Rs257 per 10 grams to settle at Rs218,000 and Rs186,900, respectively.
