Gold prices continue to climb in Pakistan

KARACHI: On Friday, gold prices in Pakistan kept rising, mirroring the upward trend seen in the global bullion markets

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the rate of 24-karat gold per tola went up by Rs5,100 during the trading session, reaching Rs454,336.

In addition, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs4,372, now valued at Rs389,519.

This rise followed a significant surge on Thursday, when gold jumped by Rs11,300 per tola to close at Rs449,236.

Internationally, gold prices also gained strength, climbing by $51 per ounce to reach $4,319, which included a $20 premium, adding further momentum to domestic prices.

Meanwhile, silver also saw an increase, with the price of one tola rising by Rs280 to Rs6,939.
