KARACHI: After several consecutive increases, gold prices in Pakistan have recorded a notable decline.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs. 2,000 per tola, bringing the new rate to Rs. 396,800 per tola.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs. 1,714, now standing at Rs. 340,192.
In the international market, gold prices also saw a dip, falling by $20 to $3,750 per ounce.
It is worth noting that just two days ago, gold had surged by Rs. 5,100 per tola, reaching a record high of Rs. 398,800.
