KARACHI: Gold prices soared to record-breaking levels in both domestic and international markets, edging closer to the historic Rs400,000 threshold in Pakistan.
As per the latest data released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the rate for 24-karat gold surged by Rs5,100 on Tuesday, bringing the per tola price to Rs398,800.
Meanwhile, the cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs4,372, now standing at Rs341,906.
Alongside gold, silver also experienced a noticeable rise. The price of a tola of 24-karat silver climbed to Rs4,637, reflecting a broader trend of increased demand and shifting economic dynamics.
