KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan climbed by Rs2,800 per tola on Friday, following an increase in the international market, according to a statement issued by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association.
In the global market, gold prices rose by $28 per ounce to reach $4,181.
The price of gold in Pakistan increased to Rs440,636 per tola, while the rate for 10 grams of gold went up by Rs2,401 to Rs377,774.
Silver prices also recorded an upward trend, gaining Rs108 per tola to reach Rs6,256.
