KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan recorded a significant increase on Friday, following a strong rebound in international bullion markets, the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA) reported.
The price of 24-karat gold climbed by Rs5,900 per tola, reaching Rs440,936.
Likewise, the rate of 24-karat gold per 10 grams rose by Rs5,058 to settle at Rs378,031, according to the association.
In the international market, bullion prices gained $59 to reach $4,184 per ounce.
Silver prices also moved higher in the domestic market, with the rate increasing by Rs144 per tola to Rs6,512.
