Gold prices see major increase in Pakistan: 06 Nov. 2025

KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a significant surge on Thursday, making the precious metal less accessible for many buyers.

As reported by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola increased by Rs3,700, reaching Rs423,062. Similarly, the cost of 10-gram gold climbed by Rs3,112 to Rs362,707.

This local uptrend aligns with international patterns, as global gold prices also edged higher amid market uncertainties. Early Thursday, spot gold was trading at $3,986.23 per ounce, registering a 0.1 percent rise, while US gold futures for December delivery rose to $3,994.60 per ounce.

In contrast, local gold prices had dropped on Wednesday, with per tola rates declining by Rs1,000 to Rs419,362. The latest increase has reversed that downward trend, bringing relief to investors but posing challenges for those planning to purchase gold for weddings or other special occasions.
