KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend, registering a sharp increase of Rs3,900 per tola on Monday.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola has climbed to Rs475,962 following the latest hike.
Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of gold increased by Rs3,343, reaching Rs408,060 in local markets.
In the international market, gold prices also moved upward, gaining $39 to settle at $4,533 per ounce.
Market analysts attribute the continued increase to fluctuations in global economic conditions and rising demand for safe-haven assets.
