Karachi: Government has decided to increase passing and grace marks in board exams across the country.
The decision has taken in the coordination committee meeting. In which representatives of education boards across the country has participated.
According to Inter Board Of Education the passing marks will be 40 instead of 33, while grace marks have been increased from 3 to 5.
According to IBCC, earlier 3 grace marks were given to the student who scored 30 marks, but now the student who scored 35 marks will be passed by giving 5 marks.
Students who fail in more than 2 subjects will not get grace marks while the decision will be applied from 2025 exams, says commission.
