Government proposes 2,795 bn rupees allocation for provincial development for Budget 2025-26

ISLAMABAD: The details of Pakistan’s upcoming fiscal year’s development program have been revealed. According to the proposal, a total of 2,795 billion rupees has been allocated.

This amount will be designated for various provincial development projects, marking significant steps toward the country’s progress and prosperity.

Punjab is expected to receive the highest funding, with a proposed allocation of 1,188 billion rupees for development projects.

Sindh is proposed to be allocated 887 billion rupees, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 440 billion rupees, and Balochistan 280 billion rupees.

Additionally, an amount of 802 billion rupees is proposed to be allocated under international aid for the upcoming fiscal year.

During the current financial year, 2,358 billion rupees were allocated for provincial development programs, supporting various ongoing projects.
