Lahore: Governor Punjab Balighur Rehman today presided an important consultative meeting to decide election date in the light of Lahore High Court (LHC) verdict.
Chief Secretary Punjab, Zahid Akhtar Zaman, Inspector General Punjab (IG) Usman Anwer were in attendance.
The huddle could not decide final decision on date of election in Punjab.
The meeting decide to approach the LHC to seek interpretation and clarification of the date for election in Punjab verdict.
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) delegation also called on the Governor Punjab Baligh Ur Rehman.
The delegation comprises secretary, special secretary and DG law.
