Peshawar: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Haji Ghulam Ali will meet with officials of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) today (Tuesday) to discuss dates of election in KP.
Speaker KP assembly Mushtaq Ghani has said that if the governor were not given dates today then we would go to Supreme Court .
Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will hold three meetings regarding preparations of upcoming provincial elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa today (Tuesday).
Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab, chief secretary and Inspector General (IG) will participate in the meetings. The electoral body will see reservations of Pakistan Thehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the huddle.
The ECP will also sit with the defense ministry officials in which provision of security matters will be deliberated upon.
