LAHORE: Following the major reshuffle in the federal cabinet, the Prime Minister Imran Khan has flexed muscles to axed other poor performer and governor Punjab likely his next prey, sources claimed.
According to sources, the second time PM Imran’s meeting with governor Punjab Ghulam Sarwar has postponed and it seemed he would be replaced.
However, smelling the danger governor Punjab, on the other side, has announced to hold a press conference tomorrow, Wednesday and will announce his future course of action.
Sources said PM was dismayed over his two-week long visit abroad, therefore his meeting with PM scheduled on April 20 has been cancelled and instead Naeemul Haque met with him.
After the postponement of the first meeting, the second meeting was scheduled today, however, it has been delayed again and in contrary, he was directed to remove the reservation raised by the allied PML-Q.
PML- Q has expressed concerns over appointing Ghulam Sarwar as patron-in-chief of Ab-Pak authority.
Sources informed that Governor Punjab did not sit silently and launched a campaign to protect his slot and he had met with party leaders Mian Mehmoodur Rashid and Shafqat Mehmood, however, he could not get desired results.
