Governor Sindh Assures Oil Tankers Owners for Their Issues Resolve

Karachi (August 21, 2017): Governor Sindh has assured Oil Tankers Association for the  resolve of their issues, after which Oil Tankers Association delayed their strike, while Contractors Association had already decided not to participate in the strike.

Oil Tankers Owners Association and Contractors Association joint delegation jointly met Governor Sindh in Governor House, during which Governor Sindh assured them for the resolve of their issues, after which Oil Tankers Association decided not to go for strike.

Governor Sindh said that the issues including sales tax, Motorway police, OGRA, PSO and other institutions, faced by Oil Tankers will be resolved. Oil Tankers Owners and Contractors delegation will now meet Adviser to Prime Minister for Ecoomic Matters Muftah Ismael on Tuesday.

Oil Tankers Owners Association had announced to go for strike over the issues they had been facing, while the Contractors Association had expressed indifference from the strike.
